OF ARTS (B.A. HONS) POLITICAL SCIENCE
Objective:
This ‘Master Science’ equips the students with a systematic and scientific
understanding of theories and practices of politics, political systems,
international relations, policy making and government procedures. Regular
workshops, seminars, symposiums and conferences augur the actualization of
theoretical base.

Issues in International Politics
Objectives:
This module is designed to enhance knowledge of basic terms, concepts, history,
theories, and geography related to international politics. To create
understanding of the history of international relations, the current world
order, its dominant trends, and its likely evolution.
Benefits:
To inculcate ability to assess arguments, identify logical flaws, and obtain
supporting or corrective information. Be able to analyze the prospects for
cooperation and conflict and the sources of order and disorder in the international
system. Students examine the issues of war, peace, and sovereignty, and
their relation to the international system. It will prepare graduates for
careers in diplomacy, intelligence, and policymaking.

This year Department of
Political Science is planning to come up with a Magazine, which will be
managed, contributed and edited by the students under the guidance of faculty
members.
